Pair of Whimsical Hand Painted Ceramic Candlesticks – Dark Tan Olive Green Colbat Blue Color - High Gloss Crackle Glaze – 20th Century
A pair of 20th century ceramic candlesticks in a high gloss crackle glaze finish in a dark tan/ olive green color with cobalt detailing. The is a quirky pair - they are sightly different heights, lean in various spots when you look closely, and the bottom detail of each candleholder is slight different - one is more geometric, hard lined in its pattern and the other has a rounded style of the 3 level design at the base. Likely a hobbyist piece.

- Not marked by maker or artist
- Number "404" (or similar number) written in red on base of each candlestick
Condition:
- Original condition
- Candlesticks have been cleaned
- Light signs of use
- Signs of age, use, and wear include: glaze skips/ imperfections at base (from time of glazing), crack to ceramic interior of candle holder area (does not effect functionality) (Please view all photos closely and zoom in. Specifically, Photo #3)
- Irregular shapes, difference in heights and base style, etc. (pieces are slightly different heights, one has a solid base, one has a hole in the base, lean visible in each candlestick and candle holder area, style of each base is slightly different)
- Sound of miscellaneous ceramic bits can be heard in the candle holder that has a solid piece - just a little noise if you shake it!

- Base Diameter: 4 1/4" inches round
- Interior opening for candle: approx. 1" inch round
