A sterling silver Ornamental Nut Spoon No. 21 by the Danish silversmith, Georg Jensen.
Ornamental Nut Spoon is in overall good condition with signs of wear/ age present. Spoon bears a circa 1910-1925 GI hallmark. Please see Condition Report below for specifics.
When placed on a flat surface, piece tilts/ leans to one side.

About Georg Jensen –
Georg Jensen (1866-1935) was a silver smith who opened his silversmithy to the public in Copenhagen in 1904. Prior to working with silver, Jensen had completed apprenticeships in goldsmith and sculptor. Always an artist, Jensen then turned to silver and today this is how he is best remembered; for his and his studio’s timeless and innovative silver designs. Jensen himself designed dozens of patterns during his life and also worked with numerous talented silversmiths to bring modern silver designs to the world. After Jensen’s death in 1935, Georg Jensen Silversmithy continued the work of original and innovative design Jensen himself had set out to bring to life. Georg Jensen is still in business today and many of Jensen’s most popular patterns are still in production.
Markings:
- Marked on back of spoon -- “21 // GI in a circle/ oval of raised dots // Denmark Sterling”
- These markings indicate 1910-1925 production
Condition Report:
- Original vintage condition with wear appropriate for age; including general signs of use/ age
- Overall good condition with wear/ scratches present on the piece – specifically to the bowl area of the spoon
- When placed on a flat surface, piece tilts/ leans to one side
- Polished and ready for use
- Protective silver cloth storage bag included

- Height: right over 1” at its highest point
- Width of Spoon Area: approx. 1 ½” wide
