A petite, sterling silver demitasse spoon by the Danish silversmith, Georg Jensen, in the Continental pattern. The Continental pattern was designed by Georg Jensen (1856-1935) in 1906. . Bowl of spoon features a hand hammered finish.
Demitasse spoon is in overall good condition with light signs of wear/ age present. Please see Condition Report below for specifics.

About Georg Jensen –
Georg Jensen (1866-1935) was a silver smith who opened his silversmithy to the public in Copenhagen in 1904. Prior to working with silver, Jensen had completed apprenticeships in goldsmith and sculptor. Always an artist, Jensen then turned to silver and today this is how he is best remembered; for his and his studio’s timeless and innovative silver designs. Jensen himself designed dozens of patterns during his life and also worked with numerous talented silversmiths to bring modern silver designs to the world. After Jensen’s death in 1935, Georg Jensen Silversmithy continued the work of original and innovative design Jensen himself had set out to bring to life. Georg Jensen is still in business today and many of Jensen’s most popular patterns are still in production.
Markings:
- Marked on back of spoon in all caps, “STERLING // DENMARK // GEORG JENSEN // SILVERSMITH LTD
- These markings indicate post-1945 production

- Original vintage condition with wear appropriate for age; including general signs of use
- Overall good condition
- Polished and ready for use
- Protective silver cloth storage bag included
