Dansk Variation V Dinner Knife – Germany – Set of 2 – Jens Quistgaard – 1960s – Vintage Flatware – Danish Modern Flatware - MCM Flatware
Set of 2 dinner knives from the 1960s, in the Danish modern pattern, Variation V, designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Designs (Known as Dansk International Designs beginning in 1974).
Variation V was introduced in 1957 and original production ran until 1978. Clean, minimalist, mid-century lines. Original production in the early years (late 1950s to mid-1960s) was in Germany, Denmark, and Finland before moving overseas to Japan and later other countries.
Measurements:
- Knife measures approx. 8 ½ ” inches long each
Markings:
- Each knife stamped on the back with 4 Ducks Logo + Dansk Designs + Germany + IHQ (C)
Condition:
- It is difficult to capture imperfections on stainless steel by photo but please know while fully functional each knife does show definite signs of age, use, and wear
- Knives are NOT in a perfect, unused state
- Knives have been used and do show signs of wear and use

- Signs of wear include - staining, surface discoloration, wear/ bend to blade, etc. (Please view photos in detail. Specifically, Photos #3-9)
