Roseville Utility Ware Pattern Creamware Pitcher – Ceramic - Blue Band Stripe – Circa 1920 – 1915-1930 – Roseville Pottery -Classic Kitchen
A circa 1920 creamware pitcher by Roseville. This style if part of their line called, Utility Ware. The pitcher has clean lines and a geometric design on the exterior, featuring a blue band/ stripe on a cream colored base with thin, black lines outlining the piece.
Roseville Pottery was established in Roseville, Ohio, in 1890 by J. F Weaver and continued in various configurations until closing in 1953.
Markings:
- “R” on bottom of piece
- Stamp is blurry in appearance, but translates to the “R with a V within in the R” mark
- Mark indicates a production date between 1915-1930
Measurements:
- Height: 6” inches
- Base Diameter: approx. 4”
Condition:
- Original vintage condition with wear appropriate for age
- No chips or cracks
- Wear to finish – paint loss in the blue band/ stripe area (please see photos for detail shot of wear)
- Signs of wear/ discoloration present on exterior and interior of piece (please see photos for detail shots of wear)
