An antique, Circa 1890, hand painted cream and open sugar bowl set by Ridgways, Stoke on Trent Staffordshire, in a richly colored (cobalt & rust), with gold rim detailing in the Aesthetic Movement (1860-1900 in Britain) style floral pattern. Made in England.

Antique condition with definite signs of age, use, and wear present including chips, flea bites to rim, loss of gold paint, etc. Please read full Condition Report below.

Markings:
- Marked on base of each piece, "Ridgways Stoke on Trent"
- Each piece also includes a printed number on the base (#13 on base of open sugar bowl and illegible printed number on base of creamer)
- Hand painted numbers "1673" in red paint (Number #1673 may be a reference to a Pattern Number)
- The letter "P" imprinted on base of open sugar bowl

Condition:
- Original antique condition with signs of age, wear, and use appropriate for age
- Creamer – signs of wear to surface/ gold rim - loss of gold rim detailing throughout piece, two small chips to rim - one at spout and one along a side rim (Please view Photos #7 thru #10 for close-up details.)
- Open Sugar Bowl – signs of age/ use/ wear in the form of staining, loss to gold paint rim detailing
- Crackle glaze finish to both pieces with staining from age/ use to surface (Please view Photos #3, #4, and #9 for close-up details.)

Measurements:

Creamer:
- Height – approx. 2 ¼” tall
- Base Diameter – approx. 3 1/4" inches
- Interior Width/ Opening of Creamer – 2 1/4” inches

Open Sugar Bowl:
- Height: 2 1/2" inches tall
- Base Diameter: approx. 3" inches
- Interior Opening: right under 4" inches
