Nissen Denmark Rosewood Ice Bucket – Mid Century Modern Barware – 1960s – Vintage Ice Bucket – Mad Men Bar Style

A mid-century, rosewood ice bucket with a built-in plastic liner by Nissen of Denmark. A classic example of Danish, mid-century modern design.

Piece has a substantial weight/ feel to it. Plastic, interior liner is not removable.

Circa 1960.

Markings:
- Marked on bottom of piece, “Nissen Denmark ©” with Horse Logo

Condition:
- Original vintage condition with signs of wear present
- Signs of wear include: a separation in the wood top in the center of the lid (crack/ separation of wood can be seen from both sides of the lid (please see photos for detail shots - photo #5)
- Additional signs of wear include: surface wear to wood finish – specifically, with spots of light green on the top side (in various spots on the lid) of the lid (please see photos for detail shots - photo #6)
- Piece is solid and functional

- Height: right under 6”
- Diameter: 8” rim to rim
- Diameter of interior lining: 6 ½”
