20th Century, Lewis Conger New York France Oval Copper Au Gratin – New Tin

An oval, copper au gratin pan by Lewis Conger, New York. Professionally cleaned and retinned in the Spring/ Summer of 2022. Ready for use in your kitchen.

Lewis Conger was a housewares store founded in 1891 and was in business until sometime in the 1950s/ 1960s. (Reference: VintageFrenchCopper.com)

Exact date of production unknown. 20th century copper cookware.

Vintage condition with signs of wear, age, and use.

Markings:
- Marked on side near brass handle, “Lewis Conger // New York // France”
- Marked “28” on the side/ end, near brass handle

Condition:
- Original vintage condition with wear appropriate for age
- Dish has been professionally polished and retinned
- Signs of age/ wear are present through the exterior and interior of the piece (please see photos for details)

Measurements:
- Length – right at 11” long
- Height – 1 ½” tall
- Width – 7 ¼”
