1980s, Christian Dior French Revolution Commemorative Mug in the "Liberte" Pattern
A mug by Christian Dior in the "Liberte" pattern featuring bright, colorful floral and scrollwork patterns in red/ burgundy, blue, green, and yellow in various shades. This pattern was produced to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution.
Late 20th Century. Circa 1989.
Good original condition with signs of wear to gold handle and rim area. See Condition Notes below for full details.
Measurements:
- Height: approx. 3.75" inches tall
- Interior Opening: approx. 2.5 " inches round
- Base Diameter: right under 2.75" inches round
Markings:
- Marked on base, Christian Dior Fine China
- LIBERTE (C)
- "In Commemoration of The Two-Hundredth Anniversary of The French Revolution July 14, 1789"
Condition:
- Very good, original condition
- Light signs of wear
- Signs of wear to gold finish area on handle and rim area (Please view Photos $4, #5 & #6 in detail.)
